Lexmark has announced a fresh reseller promotion to run throughout spring, focusing on its award-winning multifunction printers.
The promotion, launching on March 19th, will offer 50% off Lexmark’s standard distribution price for the X64x, X77x and X85x MFP ranges until June 30, 2007. This is an up-front price to resellers, with a back-end rebate for distributors.
“MFPs are rapidly becoming a business essential, particularly in small office environments where a reduced footprint and low maintenance is crucial,” said Mark Seaman, Lexmark UK’s SMB director. “These models offer reliability and flexibility and are designed to help groups manage documents and
information better.”
“Ensuring regular promotions and fresh incentives is part of strengthening our relationship with resellers and ensuring they can boost their margins, as we provide the support directly,” said Seaman.
Kevin Jones, Managing Director at Printware commented: “Initiatives like this, which help us to increase our customer base in smaller businesses, are what’s needed when planning our sales focus for the quarter. Having a range of promotions running concurrently gives us a little more in our back pocket to pass on to customers. Plus it helps us get ahead of the competition.”
Lexmark has also bolstered its channel support with the appointment of a new Direct Mail Reseller Executive for the North. Jon Bean, who will manage Lexmark’s relationship with Dabs Insight and DSGi, has previously worked as a freelance merchandise trainer.
Lexmark’s other reseller initiatives will continue as planned. These include the Business Editions Inkjet Up-Front Price Promotions on the X5470 BE, X7350 BE, X8350 BE and X9350 BE which continue until the end of March. In addition, the C53x colour laser end-user £150 cashback Promotion and T64x network mono laser reseller promotion, with a free Philips 7” Digital Photoframe, will both end April 13, 2007.
