Lexmark is launching two new Real Deal promotions for resellers to continue a spring of savings for its channel partners.

The promotion on two of Lexmark’s E-series for small workgroups will begin on
May 1 and last for three days only. Resellers will be able to purchase the E250dn for less than £85 and the E352dn for under £160, saving over 50% of the normal list price. Both models offer great desktop value and include duplex printing and network-readiness as standard.

best-selling E-series offer this dependability. We’ve also developed the new inkjet MFP promotion after great feedback from resellers from the spring laser MFP offer."

A second deal, which also begins on May 1, will last until June 30, offering an up-front price promotion, with savings of up to 30% on Lexmark’s business edition (BE) inkjet multifunction printers. The models included in the promotion are the X5470 BE, X7350 BE, X8350 BE and X9350 BE. Resellers will also be able to offer customers membership of the Lexmark Business Club when they purchase one of these printers. This includes a three-year next business day replacement guarantee, along with two extra high-yield black cartridges, which will print up to 1,000 pages.

Lexmark has also strengthened its UK channel operations with the appointment of Kelly Childs as Distribution Channel Manager, responsible for distribution partners within the UK. Kelly has previous experience with ETC, TDK, LG Electronics and D-Link. Holly Brown has also joined Lexmark, as the Channel Marketing Executive and has most recently worked for Zebra Technologies, co-ordinating its channel marketing.

Lexmark’s other MFP reseller initiative will continue until June 30. This provides 50% off Lexmark’s standard distribution price for the X64x, X77x and X85x laser MFP ranges. This is an up-front price to resellers, with a back-end rebate for distributors.
