Lexmark International, the printer manufacturer, today announced the launch of two new rebate promotions for resellers selling into small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) and the Public Sector. The first is available to 100% Partners registered on Lexmark’s reseller extranet while the second is available to all Lexmark resellers. Both promotions last until 31st March.
- 100 % Partners Promotion
In a recent pan-European survey, Lexmark found that 76% of small businesses in the UK are confident of growth in 2003. Therefore, to help resellers target this market Lexmark is offering accredited 100% partners substantial rebates on selected Lexmark products.* The example below shows how a typical printer order can accumulate £1693 extra rebate.

4 x T522= £332
5 x C720 = £865
6 x E322 = £126
2 x X520 = £370
Total rebate = £1693
- Public Sector Promotion
Lexmark is also launching substantial rebates to help resellers target the Public Sector, another major IT growth area. All resellers can claim a public sector rebate on selected Lexmark printers including the T520 and T522s (all models), mono lasers and the X520 MFP.*
Jane Cronin, director of SMB and marketing for Lexmark UK said, "Both the SMB and Public Sector markets are a major focus for Lexmark and the channel represents a key route into them for us. These promotions are designed to lower costs for the reseller, and thereby increase their margins. Our primary focus this year is to make Lexmark the number one printer margin-provider for resellers, and these promotions are a fundamental part of that aim."
