What: This week long exhibition displays the striking work by the UK’s thirty finalists for the Lexmark European Art Prize, with the announcement of the UK winner taking place on Thursday 16th.
Drawn from the pool of emerging painting talent in the UK, the featured artists have come from all walks of life and include a biology student, spiritualist and support worker.
Now in its second year, the ‘Lexmark’ is the only pan-European painting award of its kind, supporting the renaissance in painting across Europe, and helping emerging artists gain recognition for their talents.
The UK winner, along with the other short-listed artists will go forward to the European final in Milan in October for their chance to win the €30,000 grand prize.
