| Lexmark announces recall of select E series models |

Lexmark International today announced a worldwide voluntary recall of all bundles and configurations of the Lexmark E232, E330 and E332 models.
This recall is in co-operation with the local, appropriate consumer safety agencies. Lexmark has not received any reports of incidents or injuries involving these printers.
Lexmark internal reliability testing identified a potential safety issue in one printer after the equivalent of several years of normal usage. Lexmark’s testing found that in the unlikely event of a multiple component failure, the printer could present an electrical shock hazard if it is connected to an unearthed power source. Lexmark decided to issue this safety recall and notice as a precaution.
Lexmark will contact, via mail, all Lexmark customers who are identified as purchasers of the affected printers. Lexmark customers who think they may have affected printers should click here or call 0870 733 7100.
