Lexmark International, the office printer and printing solutions company today announced three new service offerings aimed at the major vertical market industries: finance, retail and manufacturing.
"These tailored solutions are based on Lexmark's unique methodology", said Jane Cronin, SMB, Marketing and Channels Director, Printing Solutions and Services Division, "and includes an initial phase in which our vertical sector document experts work with client teams to identify potential problem areas. The outcome is a formal proposal which includes recommendations to help achieve substantial savings and improved document processes."
The consulting phase is led by skilled Lexmark professionals who recommend solutions which may include a mix of hardware, software and enabling services. The next phase is implementation, where our service organisation, with qualified project managers, implement at the client location and help manage change for better document accessibility. Maintenance services will ensure both conformance and uptime.
"In this people intensive aspect of the business, it is the methodologies and quality of the Lexmark teams that will enable that promise to come true." Added Cronin.
The offerings at a glance:
The Finance industry - "Functional consolidation in banking branches and insurance agents"
Its purpose is to automate repetitive branch work and streamline workflow processes. It will rationalise pre-printed forms management and output devices in the many remote offices of these paper intensive, large organisations.
The Retail industry - "Functional consolidation in retail outlets"
Its purpose is to improve distributed document capture and workflow processes to streamline their many manual and time intensive tasks. It will also rationalise pre-printed forms management and output devices in the many outlets the retail industry has throughout Europe.
The Manufacturing industry - "Pack and Ship"
Its purpose is to rationalise the production of the many necessary pick, pack and ship documents such industries use in their warehouses and logistics departments. With this rationalisation, the delivery and distribution of these documents is streamlined.
Lexmark recognises the strategic importance of efficient document work flows, and as organisations look to implement new processes, service has become an increasingly critical part of Lexmark's offer. Such services are allowing organisations to integrate the document technologies necessary to deliver documents to their end users, suppliers and clients in a more efficient, productive, less expensive and sustainable way.
Lexmark is devoting significant resource to helping organisations as they bridge the gap between paper-based and electronic-based document processes.
