On December 1st 2006, the International organisation for standardisation (ISO) published a new standard ISO/IEC 24711 for inkjet cartridge yield in inkjet printers.
Lexmark is pleased to support this new ISO standard. We believe that this single rigorous worldwide ISO standard which measure inkjet cartridge yield will help customers more objectively and accurately evaluate printer and inkjet print cartridge yield. Until now, printer manufacturers have used a variety of methodologies to measure inkjet yields, making it a challenge for customers to accurately compare yield measurements from leading suppliers.
