On December 1st 2006, the International organisation for standardisation (ISO) published a new standard ISO/IEC 19752 for toner cartridge yield in colour laser printers.
Lexmark is pleased to support this new ISO standard. We believe that this single rigorous worldwide ISO standard which measure toner cartridge yield in colour laser printers will help customers more objectively and accurately evaluate printer and print cartridge yield in colour laser printer. Until now, printer manufacturers have used a variety of methodologies to measure toner yields on colour laser printers, making it a challenge for customers to accurately compare yield measurements from leading suppliers
